What is a reverse tuck end box?
A reverse tuck end box closes with its top and bottom flaps folding in opposite directions, so one hinges from the back panel and one from the front. That geometry uses less board and nests more efficiently on a press sheet, which is why it is the most widely produced folding carton style in the country.
Yes. The blank is smaller and nests more tightly on the sheet, so you get more cartons per sheet of board. It also fills faster by hand. The trade-off is one visible hinge line on the front panel, which matters on minimal premium artwork and not on busy designs.
